... a little bit of paradise in the Rockies...

We headed to TinCup early this year. Snow still covering the mountains. Snow still blocking several of the roads. Cold!!! Even had a couple of June snow showers. But, all in all, it was really nice. Not many people there and very quiet. The wildflowers were just starting to come out.

However, the big surprise was the huge beaver dam that was built behind the house. It's now kind of like living in the lake district.

We also took a day trip to Vail. Pretty, but so many condos and hotels have been built the only place to see the mountains is at the base of the ski runs.
